Our Team

Luke was born and raised in the small western Minnesota town of Wheaton – population 1,460.  Luke was a multi-sport athlete participating primarily in football, basketball, and baseball while also mixing in a few track and field meets and wrestling matches when time allowed.  Luke went on to North Dakota State University in the fall of 2009 as a student-athlete competing on the Varsity Baseball team.  Luke graduated from NDSU in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Finance and immediately began his career in the Recruiting and Staffing industry with Aerotek, an Allegis Group company and one of the largest staffing organizations in the world.  After gaining invaluable experience at Aerotek, Luke continued his Recruiting career by working as a Technical Recruiter and Business Development Manager with two different local and boutique Technical Search and Consulting firms before ultimately venturing off and starting Skyline Search Partners in April 2019.  In addition to running the day to day operations at Skyline, Luke’s primary focus is within new Business Development, Client Account Management, and Executive Leadership Search in the fields of Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare, and Technical Sales.  

Luke is supported by his wife, Micah, their daughter, Laiken, and two young boys, Easton and Brewer.   When time allows, Luke enjoys anything to do with sports which has evolved from football, basketball, and baseball as a kid to golf, bowling, and bean bag toss as an adult.  He also enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and an occasional woodworking project.   Luke’s favorite athlete is Randy Moss because “Randy made me fall in love with the game of football and the Vikings as a team when he burst onto the scene in 1998.  He is athletically a freak of nature that will likely never be seen again.  And despite what the media portrayed him as, Randy was beloved by his teammates, coaches, and fans everywhere he went.   Luke’s favorite musicians are Chris Stapleton and Eminem due to each of them being “the best the world has ever seen at what they do”.

John was born and raised in the northern Minnesota town of Grand Rapids.  John was a decorated and multi-sport athlete of Grand Rapids High School where he participated in Hockey and Baseball.  John took his baseball talents to North Dakota State University where he was a student-athlete competing on the Varsity Baseball team.  After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business from NDSU in 2015, John started his career in the construction and forestry industry at Nortrax/McCoy, a John Deere dealership in Grand Rapids, MN.  After 5 years at Nortrax in a variety of positions, John joined Skyline Search Partners in October of 2020 as a Recruiter.  John’s niche focus as a Recruiter is within the technical fields of Information Technology specifically with Software Engineering, IT Project Management, and IT Business Analysis.  John has also had success connecting professionals with great job opportunities in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering fields.  

John is supported at home by his wife, Lindsy and their two young boys, Nolan and Jonah.  In his spare time, John enjoys the outdoor activities of hunting, fishing, golfing, boating, and drinking a good beer.  Indoors, you can find John watching the Vikings, Twins, Wild, and NDSU Bison sports teams.  John’s favorite athlete is Mickey Mantle and his long-list of favorite musicians are Fleetwood Mac, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, Lil Wayne, Bone Thugs, and Nelly. 

Tessa was born and raised in the west central Minnesota town of Alexandria.  Tessa graduated from Alexandria Area High School where she excelled at Soccer and various other extracurricular activities.  After high school, Tessa went on to attend the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Minneapolis where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Human Resources Development in May 2021.  During Tessa’s senior year of college, she was given the opportunity to intern with Skyline Search Partners and quickly became very interested and excited about the recruiting industry.  The recruiting industry hadn’t been an avenue she knew much about until the internship opportunity with Skyline.  As the internship and final spring semester neared completion, Tessa realized this was the type of company and occupation that would interest her long-term.  Upon graduating from the U of M in May 2021, Skyline was fortunate to bring Tessa on as a full-time employee where she has continued her passion and goals of succeeding in the recruiting industry.  Tessa’s recruiting focus is primarily within the fields of Healthcare and Operations while also diving into the technical fields of Information Technology and Technical Sales.  

Tessa comes from a family of five, including her parents and two older siblings.  Outside of work, Tessa enjoys mostly all water and snow activities especially snowboarding, surfing, and just relaxing on a boat in the middle of a lake.  She also enjoys being out and about with friends and family, and trying new restaurants! 

Tessa’s favorite athlete is Alex Morgan as “she has always been an inspiration to me since I began playing soccer as a child and has continued to be an inspiration as she empowers women both on and off the field.”  When it comes to music, Tessa’s #1 choice is Rhianna because “all of her music whether old or new continues to stay authentic to her style and can tell a story through her music. I also think Rhianna has a voice that is so unique and not easily replaced, which is why she stands out to me so much.”

Patrick was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Minnesota where he was a multi-sport athlete and graduated from Grand Rapids High School.  After participating in “Juniors” hockey for two years after high school, Patrick enrolled at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where he continued to play hockey and later graduated as part of the class of 2017. 

Patrick’s professional career started as a Rental Account Manager for Titan Machinery in 2017 soon after obtaining his degree.  At Titan Machinery, Patrick sold and rented large construction equipment to contractors and construction companies around the Twin Cities metro.  On November 15^th, 2021, Patrick took a career pivot and joined the team at Skyline Search Partners as a Recruiter.  Patrick’s main focuses as a Recruiter are within the technical disciplines of Software Test Engineering and Development, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, as well as Technical B2B Sales.  

Patrick and his wife Janae have a baby girl named Grace and a dog named Frankie Girl.  In his spare time, you can find Patrick pursuing his hobbies of golf, fishing, hunting, cribbage, bandy, and watching either the Wild, Twins, or Vikings.  

Patrick’s favorite athlete is Kirill Kaprizov because he is “the most dynamic hockey player the state of hockey has ever seen and he single handedly has made the Wild one of the more exciting teams to watch in the NHL.” 

His favorite musician is Jason Isbell because “he has a great sound and he’s the best song writer out there right now.”

Sam was born and raised in the Western Twin Cities suburb of Minnetonka, MN and was a high school graduate of Benilde-St. Margaret's.  Sam later went on to attend the University of St. Thomas where in 2019, he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business and Minor in Music Production.  After college,  Sam began to work full-time for his family’s construction business as well as part-time at a music school teaching Music Production. In the fall of 2021, Sam started his career in the Recruiting and Staffing industry as an Account Executive for a local firm.  In October 2022, Sam joined the team at Skyline Seach Partners as a Recruiter.  He has found a passion in connecting with candidates and having an impact on their lives by helping them find their next career opportunity.  Sam’s core focuses as a Recruiter are within the fields of Healthcare, Construction, and Manufacturing/Logistics.  

Sam is the oldest of three siblings with a younger brother (JP) and a younger sister (Emma). In his spare time, you can find Sam Producing and DJ’ing music around the Twin Cities.  His favorite athlete is professional snowboarder, Travis Rice because “he has been pushing the limits in the snowboarding world for 25 years by starting his own backcountry competitions and riding mountains people have never stepped foot on.”  Sam’s favorite musician is John Mayer because of his guitar skills and ability to play multiple different genres of music.

Jared was born and raised in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities, with most of his childhood spent in Andover.  After graduating from Andover High School in 2010, he went on to pursue his love of sports, completing a degree in Sport Management from the University of Minnesota.  Jared's professional career started within Sports & Entertainment, securing internships through the Minnesota Timberwolves, Lynx, United and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He has expanded his knowledge in Sales & Account Management throughout his time in the Marketing industry. After a career shift to Recruitment as a Light Industrial Recruiter for Aerotek in 2021, he has now found his passion of connecting with others.  Jared joined the Skyline Search Partners Recruiting team in July 2023 with his main areas of focus being within the technical disciplines of Software Engineering and Development, Business Operations as well as Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.

Jared and his wife Danielle have two boys: Griffin & Montgomery, along with their French Bulldog Dexter.  When not spending quality time with his family around the neighborhood in Maple Grove, he can be found reading, watching documentaries, or following Minnesota sports teams. He enjoys staying active throughout the whole year, whether it is at the gym, on the golf course or at the lake up north.  Jared grew up admiring athletes such as Cal Ripken, Mats Sundin and Randy Moss but thoroughly enjoys Minnesota's young talent like Kirill Kaprizov and Justin Jefferson. His favorite genre of music is currently EDM but will always enjoy an Eminem single. 

Micah was born and raised in the North Dakota capital of Bismarck where she attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School before pursuing a Bachelor’s in Nursing first at North Dakota State University and then finishing at Sanford College of Nursing in Bismarck, ND.  

Micah’s professional career started as a Registered Nurse where she gained invaluable experience in a variety of healthcare environments including long term care facilities, hospitals, clinics, and schools.  After taking a career break as a stay-at-home parent, Micah re-entered the workforce full-time in October 2023 as a Recruiter for Skyline Search Partners.  Utilizing her education and experience in the healthcare industry, Micah’s recruiting focus is on healthcare as well as Skyline’s core industries of IT, Engineering, and Technical Sales.  

Micah is supported at home by her husband, Luke and 3 children (Laiken, Easton, and Brewer).  Outside of work, Micah enjoys running, reading a good book, creative writing, watching The Bachelor, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings - SKOL!   Micah’s favorite musicians are Chris Stapleton, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and Zac Brown Band.

Nicole was born and raised in Brooklyn Park, MN where she graduated from Champlin Park High School. Nicole went on to attend Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA graduating with a double Bachelor's in Psychology & Criminal Justice. Nicole continued her education further obtaining a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Argosy University in Eagan, MN.

While working on her Master’s, Nicole worked in the mental health field at a group home and with individuals in their own homes working on independent life skills. After grad school, Nicole decided to focus more on the administrative side of helping people and worked as a doctoral advisor for Capella University in downtown Minneapolis. She later became a stay at home mom after having her first daughter, but worked various part-time jobs over the years such as a photography assistant, front desk at our local YMCA and credentialing specialist for an in-home healthcare provider.

Nicole started with Skyline in February 2024 with a main focus of processing payroll, invoicing, and completing various administrative duties.

Nicole and her husband Reid have two daughters - Lily & Isabel and two dogs - Rudy & Stanley. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys walking, hiking, kayaking, reading & going to the movies. Her favorite musicians are Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish & Queen.

Andrew was born in the North Dakota capital of Bismarck and moved around the upper Midwest as a child spending parts of his childhood in Washburn ND, Rugby ND, Brandon SD, Council Bluffs IA, and eventually back to Bismarck, ND where he graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School.  After high school, Andrew went on to attend the University of Mary in Bismarck where he competed in Varsity Football while obtaining his Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2014.  

In 2016, Andrew pivoted from the healthcare world into technical recruiting where he spent the next 4.5 years running a full desk for a boutique technical search firm in the Twin Cities.  From there, Andrew dove into the technical consulting field spending the next 3 years working for a management consulting firm providing business, technology, and workforce solutions.  Andrew has become a decorated producer in the greater Recruiting and Staffing industry earning President’s Club Awards 6x as an outcome of building trusting relationships with clients.  Andrew has experience helping clients ranging from startups (Series A) to Fortune 100 corporations.  A few of these accomplishments include helping a Series A healthcare product scale their Sales and Customer Success team from 0 to 4 employees as well as helping a Fortune 500 company establish and scale their Data Science and Machine Learning department from 3 to 20+ employees. Most recently, Andrew helped a Fortune 100 company scale their Organization Change Management Center of Excellence from 3 to 30+ employees. 

Andrew began his tenure with Skyline on July 8^th,2024, where his focus will revolve around leveraging his 8+ years of expertise in IT, Engineering, and Healthcare staffing to partner with clients to help them achieve their most critical outcomes by introducing them to top talent. 

At home, Andrew is supported by his wife, Chelsea and two young daughters, Everly and Olivia.   He loves being active and doing anything outdoors including Golf, Hiking, Running, and Hunting.  Andrew’s favorite athlete is Tim Tebow for having the courage to walk in his faith at all times.  He also admires Tebow’s foundation as well as The Night to Shine fundraiser he puts on.  Andrew’s favorite musician/band is Casting Crowns which helps to put life into perspective.
