As we continue to grow and expand, we arelooking for a talented and experienced Director of Supply Chain to join ourteam.

 

Position Overview: The Director of Supply Chain willoversee and manage all supply chain activities, ensuring efficient andcost-effective operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strongbackground in systems design and supply chain management. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain processes, fromprocurement to distribution, while working closely with other departments tosupport the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Supply Chain Management: Develop and implementsupply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhanceoverall performance. Oversee procurement, inventory management, warehousing,and distribution functions.

·      Systems Design: Design and optimize supply chainsystems and processes to ensure they are scalable, reliable, and aligned withindustry best practices. Utilize advanced technologies and software tostreamline operations.

·      Vendor and Supplier Relations: Establish andmaintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contractsand manage performance to ensure timely delivery of quality materials andproducts.

·      Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supplychain data and metrics to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informeddecisions. Prepare and present reports to senior management.

·      Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and developsupply chain team. Set clear objectives, provide feedback, and ensureprofessional growth opportunities for team members.

·      Product Development: Work closely withleadership, sales, and marketing to design, source and develop fashionableproducts for our retail store distribution

·      Compliance and Risk Management: Ensurecompliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Identify and mitigaterisks associated with supply chain operations.

·      Travel: Domestic and international travel willbe required up to 15% of the year

 

Qualifications:

Education:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management,Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:

·      Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experiencein supply chain management, with a proven track record of success.

·      Experience in the furniture or retail industryis a plus.

Skills:

·      Proficient in systems design and optimization.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Excellent communication and negotiationabilities.

·      Demonstrated leadership and team managementskills.

·      Proficient with supply chain management softwareand tools.
